Like beans and rice, Batman & Robin, Frusciante & Flea, and Sanford & Son are examples of famous duo’s. Now, intermittent fasting and coffee can be added to this list. Because these two things can complement each other so nicely. Never a more dynamic duo has been unleashed to help shed that extra fat we carry around with us.

Coffee is an amazing drink. Zero calories, energizing, and taste good. No freaking wonder, it’s popular in the world. Some restraint needs to be instilled and it must not drink in excess though. That being said, the servings suggested is 4 or fewer cups of morning mud per day. Another great side effect of coffee is its ability to hold off hunger. Thus helping you achieve the desired Kinobody 16 hour intermittent fast.

Coffee…Just Coffee

As with Kinobody, the owner of Kinobody Greg O’Gallagher recommends you use coffee as a tool while helping you lose weight. Using coffee, to be more specific, black, and only black coffee. Black as a skillet, coffee. No added sugar, creamer, sweeteners, or bulletproof coffee (that contains a mixture of stuff, mostly fats). Just ground up java bean and water heated until hot. I would also interject and recommend filtered water, or as I like to say, “use a filter or be the filter.” Who knows what lurks in the water we drink, and for that reason, let’s be cautious and use a filter.

The time we use the roasted black bean is also pretty crucial too. By following Kinobody guidelines, allows us to optimize our intermittent fast and strategically consume our jet fuel.

Following what Greg lays out for us, we should wait a couple of hours and stave off our cup of a jolt, kick-starter for at least a couple of hours after getting up. Instead, we should have some hydrating water. That’s a hard one, let’s be truthful. Real hard, especially for coffee lovers, but I suppose there is a reason for this. I think this has something to do with cortisol levels. This really helps when, or if you get hunger pains, and then have a cup of wakey juice or two or three or four cups. This almost always alleviates hunger, so this is why it’s so powerful.

We should also be consuming this unleaded tar. S-L-O-W-L-Y. Sipping it leisurely. This is also strategic because if you drink it slowly, it more fully suppresses your hunger, and thereby helping you with your intermittent fasting.

I truly believe the old myth that coffee is bad for you is dead wrong.

That being said, too much of anything is not good for you, so moderation is always the best course of action. No more than 4 cups of coffee a day!

Too many studies have shown the ranging health benefits of coffee, it’s so misleading to say coffee is bad for you. I think slowly over time, fewer people will feel bad for consuming coffee and start to embrace the daily habit more, all the while feeling more alert and all the while becoming healthier.

If you want even more coffee benefits check out my page Healthy Coffee Additives. It suggests products to add to coffee for all kinds of improvment.
